Light Away

Introduction:

LightAway is a 2D platfor puzzle game, developed in the 2020 global gamejam, in Aveiro Portugal, by a group of 5 members, 4 developers and 1 art designer.

It is a 2 player game where the players need to interact with one another in order to beat the game.

Short game description:

Katyusha fell into a nightmarish world full of darkness. Accompanied by her spiritual guardian, Brutus, who is also her Teddy Bear. They must find all 3 gems to repair the gate that will bring her back into her world.
How to play:
Katyusha is the only source of light in this dark world. Brutus can only assume his physical form when it is illuminated by her light. As a spirit, the bear isn't affected by physical boundaries and can consume other ghosts. In the physical form, he can kill the Bad Eyes, interact with levers, push boxes and effect the pressure plates.

- Player 1 (Katyusha) : WSAD to move, Space to jump, IJKL to control the light.

-Player 2 (Brutus): Arrows keys to move, right shift to jump;
